About Daima Dizayn

Daima is a home design brand with the mantra of redesigning the collective memory of form, colour and symbols reflecting the heritage and glamour of Ottoman Empire palace life style.

We as Daima see ourselves as storytellers travelling through times triying to visualise the encapsulated values and craftmanship

Most of central pieces in the collection were inspired from our grand parents' coffer. They are unique and distinguished.We deliberately use the famous sophisticated handmade Turkish needle lace called "oya" and confection consisting of embroidery with gold metallic thread cording called "tel sarma" and hand loomed natural fabrics.

Tel sarma and Oya are values and craftmanship of the Anatolian heritage.They are unique and distinguished.
*Tel Sarma is a special embroidery made with gold, silver, copper metallic thread cording. İt's been widely used since 17 th century in Anotolie especially on  providing girls' dowry. Made with special flat needles without using scissors, it is a very hard craftmanship with a  a necessity of mastery.

Joined while studying in Master of Art Theory and Criticism we also create events in order to bring together Art and Daima.

Believing that "a perfect cultural heritage is well preseved by making it contemproary" our designs collaboratively crafted with women all over Anatolie help us integrate them in economy too.
